What Is This Building?

What is this?
Near the Thornhill Education Center you’ll find a wonderfully tranquil and beautiful garden – when in season – located alongside this building, erected in 1948 under the direction of May T. Watts. The garden was developed in the early 1970s, by Arboretum naturalist Richard Wason, as a teaching aid for school children participating in Arboretum classes.

Our winner, Hope Haberer, answerd this question correctly. Learn more about Hope, her family and her experiences at The Morton Arboretum.

Hope won an Arboretum apple-green insulated logo picnic tote – an $85 value! Looks like spring – and perfect for summer!

Are the overnights a continuing part of the education curriculum?
