By 1881, Darwin had written seven major books on pollinating mechanisms, insectivorous plants, the power of movement in plants and orchid biology. During the next months, you can discover examples of Darwin’s studies and the supporting evidence for his theory that natural selection is the driving force of evolving life.

The library staff asked modern-day scientists to answer frequently asked questions about Darwin, his theory of evolution by natural selection and, perhaps most interesting, the relevance of his ideas for researchers today.
