Beginning Monday, December 14, The Morton Arboretum will be retrofiting and replacing light fixtures in the Administration and Research office buildings. The outside contractor will be providing more energy efficient fixtures and lamps, replacing “Exit” signs to LED, and installing occupancy sensors in selected areas to control lighting.

As a result, an estimated annual savings of 83,000 kWh of electricity should be realized, yielding a significant annual savings in utility costs.
