		<description>Yes, the tree has a more extensive root system and outcompetes the grass for water and other nutrients. As a certified arborist, I consider the tree more valuable. My advice is to stop trying to grow grass under your trees. Weed control can damage the trees especially those containing dicamba. Mulch the area under the dripline and do as much as you can to keep the tree healthy.</description>
