		<description>If it is lichen it is harmless. Having lichen on your trees is an indication that you have clean air; it will not grow on trees where there is air pollution.
Since you &quot;have a yard with many old beautiful tree and bushes&quot; I recommend having them checked annually by a certified arborist.</description>
