Tree Condition Consultation

[ comment ] [ email article ] [ print article ] [ rss feed ]

Jennifer
Does anyone know of an arborist who will provide a written opinion on the condition of an old tree that is possibly in need of removal? I prefer an arborist who provides such opinions as part of his/her main business and is not also a tree trimmer (to avoid a conflict of interest). If possible, prefer to receive opinion within the next 30 days.

The Care of Trees is who I recommend. Their arborists are highly qualified and if I’m not mistaken they participate in activities with the Morton Arb. They have locations throughout the area, their website is http://www.thecareoftrees.com They were volunteer instructors for sessions of the Urban Treekeeping classes I took some 13 years ago. They have been in business a very long time and their motto (which they really exemplify) is ‘out business is people and their love of trees’. I continue to have them prune my trees including a 4 story 80 year old magnolia (which surprisingly is growing on my property in inner city Chicago). I can’t say enough good things about the care of trees!
